Lincoln recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Management in Entrepreneurship (PDE) at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, as a Mandela Rhodes Foundation Scholar. He holds an undergraduate degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership from the African Leadership University in Rwanda.He previously served as a Wildlife Economy Research Intern at the ALU School of Wildlife and Conservation, where he contributed to the compilation of national Wildlife Economy Reports for Malawi, Egypt, Mauritius, Eswatini, among others. In addition to his research contributions, he supported internal peer review processes to strengthen analytical rigor and overall report quality.
Lincoln has also undertaken internships with the Wildlife Conservation Society contributing to the formulation of the Socioeconomic Baseline Survey for the REDD+ Project Development in Southwestern Tanzania and the Nigerian Conservation Foundation, designing community engagement guidelines for the Lekki Conservation Centre in Lagos.
Lincoln’s mission is to increase youth participation in Africa’s conservation by mentoring 10,000 conservation entrepreneurs by 2035. He is currently building a community of young Africans pursuing conservation-driven enterprise and actively advocates for increased access to capital for young founders, as well as greater youth representation in conservation decision-making processes.
He is a member of the Nairobi Climate Network and the Holocene Climate Community. His undergraduate capstone research focused on expanding the participation of small actors, including young entrepreneurs and local communities, in Kenya’s carbon trading ecosystem.
