Dr Thabang Teffo is a Conservation Biologist by profession, with keen interest in Responsible Resource Use, Management and Nature-based Economics. He is currently heading the Nature-based Economy & Community-led Conservation Units at the Southern African Wildlife College (SAWC). He has previously worked with the International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC) as Project Assistant in Hungary. He is also an Expert Associate in Responsible Use at the African Wildlife Economy Institute – Stellenbosch University. He is head of South African delegation for CIC in South Africa. Dr Teffo holds a PhD in Wildlife Conservation and Management from the Hungarian University of Life Science and Agriculture.
