Dr Dilys Roe is Principal Researcher at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) – a UK-based policy research institute – where she focuses on community-based conservation, sustainable use and livelihoods, and the integration of conservation and economic development. Dilys is also Vice Chair of the Collaborative Partnership on Sustainable Wildlife Management and a member of the UK Government’s Darwin Expert Committee.
