Michaella Rugwizangoga is the Chief Tourism Officer at the Rwanda Development Board. She oversees the tourism sector and the management of the brand Visit Rwanda. Michaella is a member of the World Economic Forum Global Council on Tourism. Prior to this role, she was the CEO of Volkswagen Mobility Solutions Rwanda and the first black CEO within the Volkswagen group. She holds a master degree in Quality Control and Environmental Toxicology from the University of Kaiserslautern and a certificate in Business Strategy from the Wharton School.
